Engrave yourself into the internet hall of fame
Remember the saying, “no publicity is bad publicity”?. Well it holds true on the wide world of web. If you take a look around the most successful people on the internet have some sort of controversy surrounding them.
If you are going to become a web personality, you must keep these things in mind. Make your chosen topic or niche as controversial as possible, regarding the positives or negatives.
One may I ask, well how do I go about promoting my ‘controversial’ self and letting the world know that I have entered the internetz. In my opinion one of the best ways to achieve internet stardom is through the use of social sites, such as YouTube, Digg, StumbleUpon, Myspace, Twitter and all the rest.
You must stick with the message you are trying to preach, and take any means necessary to get your word overheard among the rest of the virtual yelling.
It doesn’t matter what you are promoting, teaching or selling, the more controversy that surrounds an item, the more people are going to be intrigued and click on that buy button, link, picture or whatever else it may be.
The underlying formula remains the same..
