Google controls about 65% of all internet traffic!

There are approximately 500 million internet users, if you break this down.

It means that roughly 300 million users visit google on an average basis, that’s only to ONE website out of the billion or so that are present on the world wide web.

Another study has shown that the top 500 websites get about 95% of ALL internet traffic.

These statistics can be a bit unsettling when you are thinking about starting up a new website, but don’t fret there are still the other 10 million or so users that have the potential to stumble upon your site.
