How to reach your goals
We all have goals and aspirations. Whether it be earning that first $10 online, starting a family or even buying your first house, everyone has something they would like to achieve. The thing is, too many people want something but never actually do anything to get there. I’ve seen a bunch of my friends come up to me and tell me that they want to have a certain amount of money by the same time next year, or a new car and house by the age of thirty. When I ask them what they have done to come closer to their goals, they let out lazy sigh and reply with “nothing”.
Don’t be lazy, fool
Unfortunately, a lot of the ambitions people have idly sit at the back of their minds with no attempt being made to make them a reality. I guess what I’m trying to say is that there is no point of praying and dreaming for something if you are not going to work towards it.
This may sound like something out of the secret but you must actually believe 100% that you are able to acquire what you want. You shouldn’t have any doubts in your mind or pass it off as one of those “imagine if” moments. In addition to this, one should try to replicate as vividly as possible the object of his desire and the conditions upon which he will receive this. (Note: This does not specifically apply to material things)
Positivity is the key, honestly.
You see people being pessimistic all the time and although it sometimes creates conversation, a lot of this conversation is quite uninspired. It’s much easier to dislike something right away rather than take the time to get to understand it fully. In your race to acheive your goals you must never be pessimistic but instead stay positive because negativity greatly reduces the chances at which you progress in mental and emotional state (primarily your subconcious).
In my opinion and the opinion of many successful people all bad experiences result in something good. Think back to something fairly bad that happened to you and you will see that something good came out of it. Maybe not directly and it might not be clear right away, but I guarantee if you look deep down you will understand that something good came of it. Whether, it helped you realize the true error of your ways, the hidden intentions of someone else or stopped you from making an even bigger mistake down the track, something good DID come out of it.
All in all to achieve your goals and get all that you desire you must clearly know what you want, tell yourself repeatedly if you forget and stay positive even through the hard times. I guarantee that you not only will acquire what you want sooner or later but you will become better for it.
Thanks
Eric
