Imageshack who?
Forget imageshack and all those other free image hosting sites!
The major flaw that most image hosting websites have these days is the amount of time it takes for a user to upload an image. When I used to use other image hosting providers it would irritate me, at the time it would take for a basic image to upload, excluding all little mishaps and errors the website would bring. However, the new free image upload host called Upload Fast takes the pain away from online image hosting.
With a simple yet professionally designed interface the service is extremely fast and user friendly. To make this review a bit more statistical, I compared the upload times of Upload Fast with that of Imageshack and was astonished at the results. To keep the test as controlled as possible I used two images on both websites. These images are the default sample images that come with vista system the 700kb+ ‘tree’ image and the 100kb+ ‘frangipani flowers’ image.

Upload Fast (100Kb Image) – 3.3 Seconds
Upload Fast (700kb Image) – 13.1 Seconds
Imageshack (100Kb Image) – 5.1 Seconds
Imageshack (700Kb Image) – 15.4 Seconds
As you can see from the results above Upload Fast was about 2 seconds faster on each test, that doesn’t seem like a lot but it tends to add up if you are uploading multiple images. Another cool thing that I would like to mention is the .swf file compatibility. Upload Fast gives you the option to upload flash files. This gives users the ability to create flash video and easily share it around via upload fast.
In conclusion if you are looking for a fast, simple and effective image hosting service then upload fast takes the cake. With clean visuals and a user friendly interface image uploading could not be any easier!
