What is domaining?
Domaining is the buying and selling of domains (www.whatever.com) to earn an income or profit.
I recently got into the online business of domaining and so far my results have been very promising. The thing that astonishes me is how easy it is to make money from domaining. Here is a little formula for making money from buying and selling domains and a few tips that will help you get started.

1. Buy expired domains or domains relating to the next ‘big thing’.

Simple enough, domaining is a lot like the stock market you should always look out for that next big thing and then buy a domain closely linked to it. For example when grand theft auto 4 came out, thousands of domains popped relating to the video game.

2. Buy low, sell high

Again, closely linked to the stock market, this is an obvious one. Buy domains cheap and sell them for atleast 2-5 times the amount. It always works.

3. Dot com is king when it comes to extensions

If possible always buy a dot com extension on a domain name, simply because way more people are familiar with dot com then .info or .tk or .me etc. If there is no .com extension for a really good name go down to either .net or .org in that order. While not as well known as .com, .net and .org can still bring in substantial profits.

4. The shorter, the sweeter

The less characters you have in a domain name the more it will sell for. You want to keep domain names as generic as possible, for example cars.com which would sell for hundred of thousands of dollars. Most 1word/part domain names are taken these days so you should go on to the next best thing 2/3 word/part domains. Try to include a dictionary word and not just random letters. Domains should be brandable (able to be put on a company) and unforgettable.

5. So where do I go to start?

First you should set up a paypal account, as most domain purchases and sales are conducted through paypal. You should then register on domain auctioning websites such as sedo.
After you should probably register on domain forums such as namepros.
A good site to check out for estimated domain selling prices is estibot.
Now you should probably register an account on name.com
which is a domain registar. And finally if you want you can invest in some expired domain software or just conduct manual searches on the internet.

And there you have it, thats all you really need to know to get started domaining. I guarantee if approach this wisely you will not a loss and only acheive profits. It is really easy.
You can stand to make anywhere from $100-$20000 a month if you know what you are doing.
